Abstract

The aim of the study is to examine the level of adoption of Psychological Counseling and Guidance (PDR) services by the provincial and district directorate of national education and school administrators according to the variables of gender, branch, age, professional seniority, place of duty, education and educational status. The study group of this research, which is carried out within the framework of the quantitative research approach, consists of a total of 230 administrative personnel working in the Provincial-District National Education and School Directorates in the provinces of Antalya, Isparta and Burdur. The "Guidance Adoption Scale" (Özdemir, 2008) was used to collect the data, and the SPSS 22.00 package program was used for the analysis. The research findings showed that school administrators' adoption levels of counseling services did not differ according to the variables of gender, age, professional seniority and educational status. In addition, according to school administrators, administrators working in the Directorates of National Education; According to the administrators who do not take guidance lessons, those who take guidance lessons; It has been concluded that managers whose branches are numerical sciences adopt PCG services more than managers from other branches.
